Cocoon of Rest

A weekly voice-led rest space for ADHD mums

I didn’t realise I was masking my ADHD until I became a mum...

I looked organised. Always meal prepping, people-pleasing, trying to stay on top of everything.

But inside, my brain was racing. I was overcommitting, burning out, and I was silently judging myself every time I forgot something, or lost focus during conversations and struggling to.l remember names.

I needed to rest my brain, but I didn’t know how to slow down.

Mindfulness gave me a way to start finding ways to mindfully slow down my overactive brain.

I started practicing stillness, with guided meditations. But I learned moments of movement, breath, and nature anchored me in my daily routine.

I still meditate but don't put pressure on myself to have a strict guided meditation routine that I try to ‘stick to’.

This group is what I wish I had back when I started my mindfulness journey.

A 4-week voice-led group experience

Starts Wednesday 9th July

Inside our private Telegram group (audio + text messaging)

In a small group of a maximum of 8 mums

Think About or Imagine This…

You’ve already done the school run. Maybe the kitchen’s full of dishes needing washed.

Your thoughts are spiralling with 100 tabs in your head , but you don’t have the energy to (or don't want to) meditate.

You pop in your headphones, step outside or lie down for some quiet time.

A kind and calm voice arrives in your ears. You can finally rest and exhale.

Cocoon of Rest is a gentle weekly pause that fits your real life.

No need for cameras, rushing, or pressure to be “productive.” Just 30 minutes that are yours to rest and connect.

And if 30 minutes sounds like too much, you can start with a shorter amount of time and build up the time over the 4 weeks.

How Does it Work?

Every Wednesday at 10:30am (UK Time), I’ll send a calming voice prompt in the group.

You take up to 30 minutes to walk, rest, lie down, or any other way you want to relax, it’s completely your choice.

Reply in the thread with a voice note or text message anytime before 12:30pm.

I’ll respond to you personally in the thread.

I'll send a gentle closing message at 12 noon with a restful reminder or reflection to help you ease back into your day.

Designed for ADHD mums who...

Feel overwhelmed, but aren’t able to commit to a live call every week

Want to rest but struggle with stillness or meditation

Want support in a relaxed way

Want something that works with your ADHD, not against it

Are seeking calm, voice-based connection without having to show up on camera, because sitting on a video call can be tiring

Would enjoy having gentle accountability and a warm community

Whether you’re diagnosed or self-diagnosed with ADHD, you’re welcome in this space.

How slowing down can make a difference…

Rain or shine, I learned to walk every day, even a five‑minute stroll outside helped me feel grounded.

I stopped beating myself up for ‘breaking’ a meditation streak and gave myself permission to practice at my own pace, in my own way.

Now, when I pause and slow down, my nervous system relaxes and I can be a minful parent and have more moments of calm as a mum with ADHD.
