Public Appearances
National Museum of Scotland
22nd March 2024
I delivered an interactive ‘Introduction to Mindfulness’ training to members of the Community Engagement team at the National Museum of Scotland.
This gave them the opportunity to find out more about mindfulness, practice different types of mindfulness, and better their understanding before delivering their Wellbeing Wander to members of the public during Mental Health Awareness Week at the museum.
I supported them with the development of how to structure their Wellbeing Wander and how they could incorporate mindfulness using the senses as part of their tour.
After this training and development session, I delivered two family mindfulness sessions, ‘Slow Down Sunday’ on the 19th May. These sessions aimed to introduce children and families to mindfulness through storytelling with my debut book ‘Slow Down Amaya’, a variety of mindfulness practices, yoga activities and craft.

Testimonial
“Natasha Iregbu’s warmth, expertise, and creativity made a profound impact during the webinar, "Homegrown Readers and Writers." Her thoughtful approach to storytelling and language development offered families practical, engaging strategies to support their children’s literacy journeys. The playful “Stop the Bus” activity stood out as a brilliant example of how everyday interactions can spark rich language learning.
Natasha's ability to highlight the role of creating daily life, unlocking that understanding for parents—was truly uplifting. Her celebration of creativity in all its forms resonated deeply, and her session left everyone feeling empowered and energised. It was a joy to collaborate with Natasha, and her work continues to make a meaningful difference in how families connect through language and literacy.”
